2nd graders have been working on a paper version on tie blankets! Don't they look amazing?

Look at the beautiful translucent flowers the first graders created and brought outside to see how light travels through translucent objects!

Our three third grade classes just finished their neon art projects using our new acrylic paint markers in STEAM! Don't they look great!

Hello Warriors-
I want to inform you of a change in our plans for this week. We will be implementing e-learning days on Thursday and Friday. This decision comes as we were previously under the impression that we could utilize these two days for the Boys’ Basketball State Tournament without needing to make them up. We have since discovered that this understanding was incorrect.
Rather than adding two days to the end of the school year, we will instead proceed with e-learning on Thursday and Friday.
I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or disruption this change may cause for your families.

Our next Family Time event will be our last for this school year!
We hope you will be able to join us!

No Fooling...we hope you will join us on Tuesday, April 1 for BOOK BINGO!
Please go to https://forms.gle/M8QQnEvbAmUV8aYD9 to RSVP for supper!

There is no rest for these teachers on a day without students! They are working hard and doing lots of learning through LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling)!
Teachers...thank you for all you do for our students!

Could driving a big rig be in a BOLD Seniors future? It is now! Principal, Missy Hoffman Bodin, came busting into class today with fantastic news.
BOLD has teamed up with Ridgewater College to offer next years seniors, the required classroom training to be eligible for their behind the wheel training with the goal of receiving their CDL. We will also have Ridgewater’s truck simulator, on site, for students to “drive”! How BIG is this?
BOLD S’Cool!😎

We will be postponing BOOK BINGO for tonight, Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
We will send out a message when a new date is set.
Please be safe on the roads.

Mrs. Christy's Culinary/ProStart II Class students used their creative skills with items leftover from previous food labs. They had to be creative in a 50 minute class period with marshmallows, candy melts, pretzel sticks and graham crackers.

At Monday night's board meeting, the board decided to modify the 24-25 school calendar.
Wednesday, May 14 was scheduled as an early release but will now be a full day of school. The last day of school for students will be on Thursday, May 15. This will be a full-day, no early out. There will be no school on Friday, May 16, but this day will be reserved as a make up day, if needed, for a snow day.

Let the Legion cook for you tonight! Come say Hello to the BOLD Juniors and help them raise money for the their prom! 4:30-7:00 PM

2nd graders built and then tried each others Lego marble mazes. They also did the mazes the other second grade class made!

Here are a few third graders with their creations after using our new 3D pens! It was the first time for most of our third graders seeing and using them. We had spoke about safety and proper use of them first, then they were able to use them. They are very excited to use these through out the rest of the school year!
In the photos you will see a heart, butterfly, a dream catcher, and our 3D pens!

Zach did a great job today at the Regional Spelling Bee. He will not be moving onto Nationals, but worked hard! Next year we are excited to see who all wants to do it again and who will go to regionals! Here are a few photos I was able to take since one is allowed to take photos during the actual spelling bee.

Hello BOLD Warriors! Today is the Regional Spelling Bee and Zach Swanson is our district representative! Make sure to wish him good luck for today! Off to Regionals in Redwood we go!
