Dear Parents and Guardians,
I am writing to inform you that the individual responsible for the threatening note has been identified. We are grateful for the swift work of our school staff and local law enforcement officers who helped to ensure the safety of our students and staff today. Also thank you to the many parents who called and emailed us with things they heard. Through everyone's efforts we are able to go back to a normal school day tomorrow.
While we are relieved that the situation has been resolved, it is deeply concerning to learn that several students were aware of the threat but chose not to report it out of fear of getting someone in trouble. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and must not be tolerated.
We encourage our students to always speak up and report any suspicious activity or threats to a trusted adult. It is crucial that we create a culture of safety and accountability where students feel empowered to report incidents without fear of retaliation.
Thank you so much for your continued support and understanding.

The BOLD weight room will be closed on Monday, November 18.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
As a follow-up to our communication on Friday, I want to provide you with an update regarding the recent incident involving the note that contained a possible threat.
To ensure the safety of our students and staff, we will have increased law enforcement presence on campus beginning tomorrow morning.
To expedite the entry process and maintain security, we will implement the following procedures:
Limited Entry Points: Students may only enter the building through the Bus Door on the west side or the Main Entrance on the east side.
Delayed Entry Time: No students will be allowed to enter the building before 7:40 AM.
Security Screening: All students will be screened by metal detectors upon entry.
Electronic Device Screening: Please have all electronic devices, including phones, smartwatches, and AirPods, readily available for inspection.
Bag Inspection: Please place your opened bags on the designated table for inspection.
We understand that these measures may cause some inconvenience, but the safety of our students and staff is our top priority.
If you have any information regarding the origin of the note, please contact a staff member immediately. Your identity will remain confidential.
There will be confusion and frustration with this process but as the week goes on it will become easier. Hopefully we will be able to solve this tomorrow. We appreciate your understanding throughout this process. If you have any suggestions please reach out to the office at 320-523-1031.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work together to maintain a safe learning environment.
