Kara Marie Lawson is an American basketball coach and former player, currently the head coach of the Duke Blue Devils women's basketball team. She is known for her extensive experience in the game, including a 13-year professional playing career in the WNBA, Olympic gold medal with Team USA, and broadcasting experience with ESPN. She also served as an assistant coach for the Boston Celtics and as head coach of the US women's 3x3 national team, which she led to a gold medal in the 2020 Olympics.
